limeted or no connectivityPing works one way only
My setup is xp home on both desktop and laptop, network topography is Desktop > edimax Fast ethernet switch > Laptop. I have just discovered that when I ping from laptop to Desktop and get timed out if I then ping the other way (from desktop to laptop) I can then sucsesfull ping laptop to desktop, can any one tell me what this means ? desktop. You'll need to add the IP address of the laptop to the trusted locations in your firewall.
