Can't Ping Computers on Home Network

I have a D-Link wirless router (DI-624) that I use to allow all 5 computers
in the house to share an Internet connection.

Yesterday I ran the Microsoft Home Network Wizard successfully on all 5
computer (starting with the one that is directly cabled to the the router)
because I want to share files and printers.

However, only 3 of the 5 computers can see each other (when I attempt to
"Map a Drive" in Explorer). If I try to ping the two computers that I cannot
map to, I get the "REQUEST TIMED OUT" message from the ping command.

Any suggestions to what I need to do to see these 2 computers on the network
so that I can map to them??

What am I missing? What's different about the two computers?

Any help would be appreciated.

All computers are running XP Home Sp2 and all have 3rd party anti-virus and
firewall software which is current.

My guess is the two computer that you can't see have their firewall programs
configured to block local traffic, Perhaps NetBIOS is blocked on them by the
firewall. You'll need to add the local network to the trusted zone.

Yes, that resolved the problem. I had to add my IP range to the Trusted Zoned
in each firewall for each computer and the sharing worked instantly.

I was also able to share printers between the computers.

Thanks so much for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
