Limited Connectivity....Again.When I connect to my home wireless, I connect with all five bars, but it
gives me "Connected with Limited Access." I downloaded the hotfix, but when I try to run it, it tells me "An error occured while unzipping. One or more files were not succesfully unzipped. The error code is 40." See, I have no idea what error code 40 is....So are there any other fixes for this problem? Hi
Which Hot Fix? Limited connectivity usually stems from configuration problem, you gave to describe your Wireless hardware and configuration, Jack (MVP-Networking). things easily with your C drive), but it didn't do anything. I'm on a laptop, Inspiron E1505 with the standard card, and the router I'm attempting to connect to is an Actiontech. I'm not sure about configuration, I'm not to good with computers. It was working perfectly fine about a week ago, then it just died. The only thing that changed was I tried to connect to a friend's wireless, Actiontech as well. That's when the issues began. I have my WEP right, but it treats it as if I don't. Their are concoction that can do something like this. However No matter what there would be vulnerabilities and management issues. In a world that 1GB of Hard disk drive space goes for 25cents, it seems more of a Psychological issue for people who can Not stand few unused GB of Disk Space rather than a viable technological solution. Given the current prices of Network Storage (NAS) it does not really pay to go this route. Jack (MVP-Networking).
