database file not ftp'ing

I just got a linksys wireless modem on my network and I can ftp
upload/download all types of files and images for many customers still but
when it comes to uploading and downloading the database files with
extensions ".mdb" my connections stops. Before I got the wireless modem I
was always able to get the file but no longer.

No matter what computer I use to FTP or what program I use to FTP I still
get "no response" when uploading the database. Or it starts then I get "no
response". It gets exactly to 32768 and then craps out all the time?????

WHY! I need immediate help cause this is for a big clienc that I need to
work with the file often.

I called linksys and they said it was not their problem.
