Cannot ping computers on networkworkstations. Although all of the computers are on the same internal subnet (192,168.200.x), I cannot ping the XP workstations. I can ping the Windows 2003 server but not the workstations. I recently installed the Windows Live One software on the workstations could this be the problem? You can easily allow these requests being made to your computer. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Double-click the Windows Live OneCare icon in the notification area. 2. Click View or Change Settings, and then click the Firewall tab. 3. Click Advanced settings. 4. Click Ports and Protocols. 5. Check/Uncheck ICMP v4 Inbound checkbox.
