have just added an Appian Graphics Jeronimo Pro four monitor video
card and my speed for all windows and some other program drop down
menus are extremely slow. I added 1024mb ram memory but it didn't
help
much. I had to disable the Intel (r) 82915G Express Chipset Family in
order to load windows after installing the video card. All programs
run at about the same speed as before changing cards. Anyone have any
suggestions of settings or if I need to add additional memory etc. I
need the 4 monitors for the type of business I am in. Any help would
be appreciated.

It's been a long time since I've heard of anyone using one of these. If
memory serves, it is a 3DLabs chipset with only 16MB ram on board. That is
barely enough memory to run 4 monitors. You can try setting the bit depth to
256 colors or 16 colors and see if that improves you performance any but I
don't think you're going to be very happy with what you can get out of that
card. If you need the 4 monitors you would be better off buying two new cards
that support dual dual monitors and installing them to get the desktop space
you need with good performance.
