Cannot connect XP Pro SP2 to Windows ME8 hours today to try to finally do it. I am able to connect to the internet from both computers, and I am able to ping to and from both computers. I have made sure that I openned my firewalls for the 192.168.2.1 through 192.168.2.100, but still no joy. One appears to be in a domain and the other a workgroup.
Right click My Computer, Properties and make sure they are both in the same workgroup. Change the workgroup if necessary.
