Agregate two network cards to a single connection?Just looking to take full advantage of my hardware...
I'm running Windows XP Pro SP2. My mainboard has two gigabit ethernet ports and I've got a few spare CAT6 connections to my gigabit switch. Is there a way to combine the two network interfaces on my PC to increase my LAN connectivity? No practical way, no.

that does it). Check with them to see if their drivers allow link aggregation. I know some Intel NICs do. Yeah, but not with a Client OS (like WinXP) you need a Real Server OS (like Win2003). The two NICs can be used for Software Routing (ICS) and Bridging two independent Networks. It is a nice marketing feature, Not really useful for regular End Users. Jack (MVP-Networking).
