Accessing network share via Start, Run opens "Open with dialog"Hello,
I have a small problem. When I try to acces a network share or a drive via Start, Run, like: \\myserver\myShare or C: and then I press enter, Windows doesn't take me to the network share or my drive, but displays the "Open with dialog". I've been searching the net for almost 5 hours, and I haven't found a solution. I think there might be a problem with my register, or do I have to reregister some dll's? When I use file:\\myServer\myShare, Windows opens Windows Explorer, going to the right directory (or share). Somebody has an idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance. Kevin I found the problem. It was because the default action on a folder was
"Explore". When I've put "Open" as the default action, everything went ok. I hope I can help other people with this problem.
