XP LAN WIRELESS BRIDGE IISbeen able to get this far without them... I have 2 computers (Client, Server), 1 Hub, 1 Wireless router, and would like to: 1) have a the Server share the Clients wireless to gain Internet access, 2) as well as to have the Client access IIS on the server via http (browser). I've got 1) working, but 2) is not. Both machines can ping each other. Web Pages are served up localy via http://localhost/webpage.aspx. What do i need to do to allow for my http requests to be seen by IIS on the server from the client? With the current set up the Wireless Connection looks like it's down, but i can access the internet... My Network is comprised of the following: 1 Laptop Wireless Connection -> LinkSys Router Lan Connection to Server through Hub ipconfig /all Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : TOSHIBA-USER3 Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Hybrid IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No DNS Suffix Search List. . . . . . : ????.??.comcast.net. I can not fully follow your Network topology, were the Internet comes in and what the source is? Assuming that you have a regular Broadband Internet connection. The Modem should be connected to the Linksys Router and both computers should be connect (wire or wireless to the Router). If both computers are running WinXP, from a Network OS perspective, you do not have a real server. Both computers should be configured equally around the Router. The Laptop ipconfig reading is the way it should be for both only each computer own IP should be unique. When the IIs is running on its computer, and assuming that no local ports are blocked, typing the "server" IP ( http://192.168.1.17 ) number into the Browser would show the index page of the local site. I could see how they should be the same if both machines were plugged into the wireless router, or both were wireless communicating the wireless router... So Close... Thanks I put a packet sniffer on the Server and it seems that the http
