Network connection monitoring toolHi,
I am looking for a software which would log my internet connectivity status (up or down) with time. I do not need any detailed information and just need to know when the network connection goes up or down. Please provide me links to any such simple softwares available for windows xp system. Thanks On 1 Mar 2007 10:24:19 -0800, punit.k***@gmail.com wrote:

I use PingPlotter to do the pinging, and to display the results. You can use "simpler" products, but they may be harder to use in the long run. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/09/diagnosing-network-problems-using.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2006/09/diagnosing-network-problems-using.html You could always use a command line "ping", to a target of your choice. That's simple. But adding in time stamps, if that interests you, will be a challenge. Likewise interpreting a ping, unless you're watching it directly. So let us know what specifically you want to do, and we'll advise you further. -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
