Windows ICS

When I go under my network, and go to the advanced tab, there is no option to
share my internet connection, although there was before I had to reinstall
windows XP on my computer, Theres another question regarding this in the xbox
live part of this forum if anyone can give any further help.

The ICS option only appears when all of these are true:

1. There are two or more network connections: one for the Internet,
and one or more for the home network (LAN). The home network
connection can use wired Ethernet, wireless Ethernet, IEEE 1394
(FireWire), or Bluetooth, or it can be a network bridge. It can't use
a serial or parallel port. With more than one enabled home network
connection, there will be a box asking you to specify which one to use
for the home network.

2. The home network connection(s) must be enabled and connected.

3. The Internet Connection Firewall (XP RTM and SP1) must be disabled
on the home network connection.

4. The Internet connection must not be bridged.

Go to Device Manager and see if any devices (especially network
adapters) weren't installed successfully when you reinstalled Windows
XP.
