Intranets on VistaHi,
I'm trying unsuccessfully to access a website hosted on my XP computer via browser (http://computername/intranet) on my Vista Ultimate computer. I have no issues connecting to it with other machines running XP or Tablet, just with the Vista one. I tried disabling the Firewall on vista, but that didn’t help. Any ideas? Thanks! If you go to my network places, can you find the computer?
Also, try and type in \\computername\intranet on Internet Explorer. Does it come up now? I can see the computer under Network with Explorer and open its shared
folders, etc. But I can't connect to the websites hosted on it. I tried every combination on Internet Explorer, nothing.
