ethernet connection after reinstallationI just used wipeclean to clear my hard drive (children messed it up beyond
repair), but now my ethernet does not come up under network adaptors in device manager. I have tried using the reinstallation disk that came with my computer and it appears to download, but it still fails to show up under network adaptors. If the Ethernet port is built in on the motherboard, you need to install the drivers from the CD that was delivered with it. The network path was not found - only on some computers old problem cannot share files on simple home network. LAN ??? XP SP3 Pro PC's not viewible in Network Neighborhood XP Media Center can see one of the users but not all poor connections with wireless card Can't ping dns name but can ping ip No access to networked pc's network connection problems |
