IE not connecting after Windows updateAfter my latest automatic Windows Update (yesterday, 15 Oct 08) IE can no
longer connect (it displays the usual "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message, as if there were no internet connection). There doesn't seem to be any problem with other Window internet apps (Outlook Express and Live Messenger both connect) and it's obviously not a site-related issue, since everything's accessible under Firefox (fortunately I had an old copy of that installed, otherwise I wouldn't be here...) Using IE 7.0.5730.11 and Windows XP Home Ed. 5.1.2600 SP3 Ignore this... I've re-posted it under the IE section
