I have a home network (I mean that as saying a network at home, not whatever it means when they use it in the Windows network wizards) that contains 3 computers; 1 Windows 98 desktop, 1 Windows XP Pro SP2 desktop, and 1 Windows XP Home SP2 laptop. There is a printer connected to the Windows 98 machine that I want to allow the XP Home machine to print to. I have setup the Windows 98 machine to share the printer through Windows File and Printer Sharing. I am reasonably sure that this is set up correct because I have managed to print to the printer through it using the XP Pro machine (I know how to do everything once the machine recognizes the machine as part of the network). However, the XP Home machine does not seem to want to recognize the 98 machine (or the XP Pro machine) as part of the network. Can someone help me setup the XP Home machine to be able to use the printer? Here is a diagram of the basic network connections: ...
