Can't Network Two Win XP Home SP2 Laptopsto network via his wired ADSL Router. The first machine has been networked before and has had the Windows Networking Wizard run on it. It has a shared folder which has both the sharing options ticked on the Sharing tab. The second machine has not been networked before so I created a shared folder and in the process of doing so ran the Networking Wizard. This folder now also has both the sharing options ticked on the Sharing tab. The Router and the software firewall on both machines were blocking a variety of protocols (NetBIOS, etc) but I eventually got it so that each machine so that it could see it's own shared folder. However, neither machine can see the other in My Network Places. I've never had any trouble networking Windows XP machines before and I would very much appreciate it if anyone can help - I will create a list of things to try the next time I go roundt here.
