I am looking for a program where through TCP/IP I can share an application
window on my PC with another computer in the same or even different subnet.
For example, let's say there 2 PCs at work: mine and a co-worker's. At the
moment, every time I want to show him something like a spreadsheet, he has to
physically walk to my screen to see it. What if I can simply drag the
spreadsheet window off screen to my side and this windows appears on my
co-worker's PC minitor. He can take over control of the window and drag the
remaining part of the window so he can now see the entire window of the file.
When he is done, he simply drags the window back and I take over and drag it
all back to my screen. Of course, this is just for viewing, not modifying any
data in the spreadsheet. However, it would be cool if he could also make
changes to the data. Think of this as a form of instantaneous Remote Desktop
session where the authentication is already built and configured into this
sharing program.

That might be very cool. I am, however, unaware of anything that will do
this...outside of third party services like Webex or LiveMeeting, which are
not inexpensive, and even they don't work 100% as you've described. You
might try googling.
