Network Bridging 2 ComputersI have 2 computers in my home in separate rooms that I would like to bridge
but do not know how (if it is even possible). They both have Windows XP. Computer A is a desktop and is connected directly to my DSL modem via USB cable. Computer B is a laptop and is connected wirelessly to the same modem (the modem has a wireless gateway). Does anybody know how I could set up a bridge between these 2 PCs to share files and printers ect..? Thanks Hi
Since your computers are already connected to the same Modem/Router they are forming already a Network. You need to configure the File Sharing on each, and you would be able to share. See here how, http://www.practicallynetworked.com/sharing/xp_filesharing/index.htm See here if you have troubles, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html Jack (MVP-Networking).
