My Network places has goneI have a desktop and laptop on a desk next to it connected by an Ethernet
cable. All has been working well for some time but now suddenly I cannot see My Network Places in Start. On the laptop all seems O.K. Can I put another link there, and if so from where and how. Or do I need to re-setup the network? TIA B.W. Sorry if this post is repeated but I could not see the original version I sent some hours ago. Click Properties. 3. Click Customize. 4. Click Advanced. 5. Put a check mark in the "My Network Places" box. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
