Networking options using satellite system for my ISPI have been usingthe country where the phone lines are not reliable) My satellite system uses 2 modems, 1 for transmit and one for receive. I use network cards and network software for connecting our 2 computers (we are a his and her ccomputers family) to the internet. The modems do not have USB connectors. They use coavial cable connectors and our 2 computers are connected by a LAN cable. I am getting ready to upgrade my computer to a high end dual processor system and replace my wifes P2 Win 98 system with my old P4 Win xp system. Does anybody have any inputs as to what would be the best but simplest way to network our computers. Maybe I should stick with what I've been using but I'm sure a lot has happened in the networlding world that I do not know about. All comments gratefully received TIA Loringh. Strange Network Problem
netdiag /test:winsock says I have win2k! networking and sharing files between computers internet connection problems dialup connection constantly pops up while using broadband connection Port Busy Problems can't access network places folders... Sharing my scanner New computer on LAN only stays visible for a short time. Can i make things better |
