Connecting to Win2k ServerI am trying to get our laptop which has XP Home to see our corporate network.
Specifically, I need it to see the Win 2k Server. It will see all of the workstations but not the server. I have installed the NetBEUI protocol but it still won't see it. I thought it was because it's the Home edition but I can't get a version of Professional to see the server either. Any suggestions? Using XP Home and logon the domain credentials, you should be able to access the domain resources. First of all, can you ping the server by name? if not, can you ping it by IP?
