Copying a shared fileIs there any easy way of copying or transfering a shared file from PC to PC?
When I copy and paste I get the shared file icon only, I need to transfer the full folder onto another PC to access when not networked. Many thanks. Hi Andrew,
Try doing it this way: right click the Start button and select Explore. Locate the folder and click on it to highlight, then go to the Edit menu and select "Copy To Folder". Now navigate to My Network Places and expand. Then locate your destination and copy there. Does it copy the whole folder?
