3 pc's in a networkHello,
I have 3 pc's in a network. When I share a folder I can see this folder on all pc's. Is it possible to share this folder only to one pc and not to another pc in the network Thanks in advance On Sat, 5 Aug 2006 08:51:01 -0700, Erik <E***@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote:

Home? Pro? MCE? This makes a difference. With XP Home, Simple File Sharing, and Guest authentication, what's available to one computer (local user account) will be available to all computers (local user accounts). You'll need XP Pro with non-Guest authentication. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/06/file-sharing-under-windows-xp.html#Guest> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/06/file-sharing-under-windows-xp.html#Guest -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
