alternate configuration. However, what I want to do is be to switch between a Workgroup-centric configuration and a domain-centric configuration (My Computer\Properties\Computer Name). TCP/IP Configuration does not address this issue. I can redo the Computer Name settings each time I want to log in to a customer's network, but Windows tends to creat yet another user account each time (user, user.domain1, user.domain2, etc) and you have to go through the lengthly "applying settings" process. Since I support more than 50 networks you can see that this will get ugly after a time. Maybe I'll just set up a virtual PC session for alternate configurations.
