how to drop a networkI know this is probably stupid but.. I finally got my home and laptop to talk
to each other even though the computers don't show on the home computer (xp home) but do show on the laptop (xp pro). Took hours to get there but it does work. Needed to change some security settings in zone alarm. How do I delete a computer though from the network.. If I right click the computer (hp home one) it doesn't give any options to drop it?? And is there a reason why I can't see the computers on the home computer. What is it you want to do? Re visibility in browsing - make sure NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled in each computer (in the TCP/IP properties of the network connection) and they're in the same workgroup, for ease of visibility. Don't know what zone alarm settings you might need to play with for that, if any. Thank YOU.. I remember unchecking netbios at oe ime for security .. bt that
will solve it.
