Cannot browse all workstationshave AD computer accounts, are currently turned on with a user logged into AD, have file and print sharing enabled, but do not show up in the network browse list (My Network Places). However, a number of other workstations DO show up in the network browse list. I can ping the workstations by NetBIOS name, and I can access them by running \\computername\sharename from the run command. I have searched through the services of both workstations that do appear and those that do not appear, but I can't find any service that is consistently started on one type and not started on the other type. Is there anything I can do to correct this behavior and get all workstations in the AD Domain listed in the network browse list? Thank you for your help with this. Can the computers that can't be seen see the others, consistently? Can each of the computers that can be seen see all of the others, consistently? Look at "browstat status", from each computer in each set, and diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!): <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
