Hi,

Recently I had installed Firefox browser and set it up as default browser.
Now I have some programs not working well and some sites not displaying
properly and I d like to restore IE as default.

How do I do that?  I checked the option asking IE to check if its the
default browser in the Program tab, but IE does not ask when it starts.  My
important planning software has stopped working if firefox is default.

Thanks for any help.

Ramesh,

In Internet Options - Programs, you should have a checkbox for "check to see if
it's the default browser".

Thanks Chuck.

But I sent this message after I tried that option in teh Programs tab.
After I checked it, I expected that IE would throw up a dialog box when
starting, to make IE as default.  But no such box is happening.  What could
be the issue?

Thanks for your response.
