I have the following problem. My system use to be working fine until recently
the network connection icon disappeared. I have both 1394 firewire connection
and normal network connection installed on my PC and now both are
disappeared. I'm still able to access the internet through the network and
i'm able to access my device on my 1394 as well. But when ever i'm trying to
setup a LAN network using wizzard, it will show as i do not have a network
device install.

what should i do?

Sorry for my poor command of English.
What i mean was, whenever i click on network setup wizard, i receive a msg
saying "Cannot complete the network setup wizard" "the wizard cannot find
your network hardware"

Illusis,

no problem, just try.

The normal reasons for this are that

* the driver is not installed,
* the device is disabled,
* the device is defective or not properly connected.
