Hope anybody can help !
My network at home was doing fine up to yesterday afternoon.
2 Computers : 1 desktop and 1 laptop. Both connecting to Internet broadband
using PPP autentication ( leptop over a wireless ). The desktop still works
fine but the laptop now reports the following while logon :
Error 691: Access denied because username and/or password is invalid on the
domain.
I checked the logon settings and they are exactly the same as before. The
most weird thing is also trying to connect the laptop to the NIC and I still
have the logon error. Note that I can ping the router ( I guess this means
that the lan is ok ).
Thanks in advance
Edith

Edith,

has the laptop been connected to a company network recently?

You may have to use the domain username and password.

Or has the network setting been changed from workgroup to
domain?
