Wireless NetworkingI have a Toshiba Satellite L25-S119 notebook computer with a built in
wireless nic and and LAN connection. While the notebook is connected via the LAN connection it never has any problems. But, when I connect via the wireless nic then it will get knocked off after an indeterminate amount of time. I haven't completely determined but, think that it may be related to inactivity. If I am not actively browsing the net and just looking at something for a length of time it will get knocked off. If I restart the computer everything is fine. Any ideas as to what is happening to cause my wireless connection to get dropped? Thanking anyone in advance, Sonny Sonny Martin wrote:

Expand the Network Devices and find your wireless adapter. Double-click it to get its Properties. If there is a Power Management tab, click on it. Uncheck the box that says "allow Windows to turn off this device when not in use". Apply/OK out. Malke
