Cannot connect to Internet

I cannot connect to the internet.  I cannot cannot using the ethernet
connection, a usb connection from my cable modem, nor by using a usb
wireless network adapter on my wireless gateway modems network with my
computer running xp sp2.

I recently updated my cable modem, but this problem existed prior to
that.  I am able to successfully connect to the internet via three
laptops and one ethernet connected PC (no longer exists).

Is it a virus or trojan?  I thought it was my motherboard, but it
wouldn't make sense that the wireless adapter wouldn't work if the LAN
card was broken, correct?

Please help...the computer is intended for basic school functions and I
would rather not invest in a new computer for this purpose.

Rafael,

Please start with some detailed description about physical connection of each
computer.  Remember, I'm not there in front of your computer.

Then, let's look at  "ipconfig /all", from each computer, and diagnose the
problem.  Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions
precisely:

Thanks Chuck, I hope I formatted properly and provided necessary data.

I have 2 laptops and one PC currently on my network.   The network is
controlled via Motorola SBG 900 wireless gateway cable modem.  The
modem has one ethernet connection and one USB connection in addition to
the wireless capability.

The laptops connect to the wireless network with their built-in
wireless cards.  The PC is currently linked to the modem via the USB
connection and has an Airlink USB Wireless-G Network Adapter installed
on it.  The PC is having the issues.

Laptop 1 runs Windows XP Home SP2.  Its ipconfig /all log follows:

Rafael,

OK, to start, Farias is running IPV6, aka Teredo Tunneling.  Please start by
removing that.  If you need it, we can work on that after we get IPV4 working.

And please, as we work on this problem, reply after my replies.  This will help
us both.

Rafael,

You have a modem / router (the Motorola SBG 900 works as both), with possible
connections by Ethernet, WiFi, and / or USB cable.  It's working for WiFi.  I'd
hope that each different port (particularly the WiFi radio) has to be explicitly
enabled for network use.  Is there a setup entry to allow WAN access for
Ethernet and for USB?  Most modem routers, when they have both Ethernet and USB
connectors, require one or the other to be selected.

How did you setup the WiFi?  Do you use any filtering - MAC address filters for
instance?

Maybe it would be good to contact Motorola tech support.

Of course, it's vaguely possible that the problem is with Farias.  Is the DHCP

Chuck,

Thanks for your help.  Since the issue existed before I upgraded
modem/router, it had to be related to the computer.

After reading the material at your links, performing the DNS reset from
the command prompt corrected the issue.  All the connections are now
active.

Thanks,

Rafael
