Can't Connect to Linksys WRT54G RouterI have everything set up correctly.
I can't even update my firmware because my PC does not see my router. I can't ping my router nor does the wireless internet work anymore. It just randomly stopped working and I was wondering if there was any way to fix it or if there is anything wrong. I tried resetting to default and held the reset button for 10 secs. I tried reinstalling the program and drivers. I can't connect to my router at 192.168.1.1 either. I don't know what is left for me to try. I even turned off my firewall and tried to see if it was that, and nothing happened. Any help would be great. Thanks. Go to the Linksys web site for support!
They instruct you how to set up the router with different modems, also you must hold the reset button for more than "30 seconds" to reset the router. I found that in order to connect my desktop to the router address (192.168.1.1) I had to set a static address in the desktop to 192.168.1.100. JR At Linksys support if you can word the question correctly you can find a wealth of information. ------------------------------------------ TallGoofyBast***@gmail.com wrote: Show quoteHide quote > I have everything set up correctly. > > I can't even update my firmware because my PC does not see my router. working correctly. It no longer sends out a signal and I can't connect to it via my PC. I have connected to the router address before to set it up. I tried the 30 seconds reset also. Didn't work. Thanks for your help, but nothing works.
