VPN drops local shared folder access.I have a shared folder set up on my computer for other network users to
access. I also connect to another network through a VPN connection a few minutes each day. My problem is... is when I connect using this VPN connection, other users on my network cannot access the shared folder on my computer. I need to allow the other users in my network access to this shared folder if I am using my VPN connection. Your help is appreciated. Thanks, Rob On Tue, 15 Aug 2006 08:09:01 -0700, RobertJW wrote:

See if there is a setting in your VPN client to "not" use the remote gateway. Keep in mind that this reduces your VPN security. Ok... I didn't think about the default change of default gateway. What you
say makes sense. Thanks! Show quoteHide quote "RobertJW" wrote: > I have a shared folder set up on my computer for other network users to > access.
