I have Windows XP Media Edition, SP2.   Cannot connect to internet.   I have
tried Winsockxkfix and kb811259.   I cannot ping with or without names.    I
have run MS Antispywhere and Norton Antivirus with no issues.   Definitions
are up to date.

My Local Area Connection states Limited or no connection.

Other computers (like this one) can connect to the internet fine.    I am
using a linksys router.

Help!!!!

You have tried Winsockxkfix and kb811259 - that's just 2 out of 4.

If your Local Area Connection states Limited or no connection, have you checked
the hardware itself?

Or go down the list, item by item.
