Hi!

We have two domains in our network, I want to know how to configure the
winxp desktops that we have so that the user can choose between the two
domains at log on. We have several computers which different users use all
throughout the day.]

thanks!

The only way to do this natively in Windows is to create a trust between the
domains, which will let users select a logon domain.  Otherwise you'd need
to find software that lets you change network settings to change domains but
I suspect that process would require a reboot when users change domains.

computer can't be a member of two domains.

google netswitcher which is a product that should do what you need.

As Richard says, a domain trust will probably be the best solution.

And "Google is your friend" is a rather rude reply, though innocently used by
many.  But here's a pointer to NetSwitcher (and 2 alternatives).

MyLogon might possibly be of help.  This is primarily intended for the
situation where a single-user computer needs to connect to multiple networks
without losing the desktop and settings for the local machine.  Not quite
your requirement here, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

Thus, all users would have the same desktop and settings.  This could be a
mandatory profile, but it cannot be a roaming profile.
