Outlook 2000My outlook 2000 was working fine until yesterday. But today it froze when downloading email from the server. At first I tried restarting my computer, but that didn't fix anything. Then I backed up my outlook.pst file, renamed my current outlook.pst file and created a new account.the pst file for this account is personalfolders1.pst. Now I could download me email and send email, but i keep getting a message saying that outlook couldn't file outlook.pst file.is this because i named my new pst file as personalfolders1.pst. would renaming it to outlook.pst solve the problem? Also will it give me problems in importing my old outlook.pst which i have renamed.? Please help me figure this out. Thanks pdeshp wrote:
