no access to other computer on LANHi -- I have a wireless LAN in my home. My computer is connected directly to
the router; my son's is via wifi. When I try to access his shared folder on the network, I get an error message saying that it is not accessible, and that I may not have privileges to access this. Can anyone tell me how I can fix this so I have access? Thanks. -- David P.S. -- Im using Windows 5.1, SP2 i just solved this exact problem. I had to tell my firewall that i had a
network. It was easy, i have norton internet sercurity and it ha a wizard that detects other computers. The windows firewall will set itself up, but a 3rd party one will need to be configured Show quoteHide quote "DZigas" wrote: > Hi -- I have a wireless LAN in my home. when a program is requesting access. That doesn't happen when I try to access the shared folder. It's just an error from Windows. -- David Show quoteHide quote "M" wrote: > i just solved this exact problem. I had to tell my firewall that i had a > network.
