firewall driving me crazy please helpI just got a new latop and internet service at home and laptop came
pre-installed with windows xp prfessional, but now here's my problem i try to connect to windows live messenger after downloading it online and it gives me an error message "your firewall may be blocking windows live messenger from connecting to the service. please review your firewall settings". I've checked the windows firewall setting both ICF and ICS is disabled, but i still can't connect to the messenger service please help pleeeeeaaase

You are putting your machine and your personal information at risk. You will need to tell your firewall (you don't mention which firewall, windows native or some third party application) to allow Windows Live Messenger to have access to your system.
