internet explorer problemswhen i use a dial up connection to access internet i get web pages etc
displayed and ok, when i connect through network it will not work, i can ping router and every other pc on the network, i can browse folders etc, i have checked for spyware (ewido) and viruses (Nod32) and no problems found. Right-click the local area network connection. 2. Click Status > Support > Details. 3. Note the values that it shows for IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, and DNS Server. 4. Open a command prompt window (Start > Run > Cmd) and type these commands, substituting the actual values from above in the first three. Each command should get four replies: ping IP-address ping Default-Gateway ping DNS-Server ping 4.2.2.1 ping google.com If there are any failures, please post a news group reply giving: 1.
