No Option for Choosing Domain During LogonHi,
Someone has brought in a computer which doesn't have the option of joining a domain during logon. There is an "Options" tab in the logon dialog but clicking on it doesn't open up the domain option. This computer did have the domain option at one time. The computer is xp professional and the user is the administrator. Any suggestions on what can cause this and any solutions? Thanks!

You join - or un join the computer from the System Properties wizard, Computer Name tab - Change button. It sounds like they took the computer home, and joined it to their workgroup. This means you have to rejoin it to the domain, then instruct them to not rejoin it to their workgroup the next time they take it home. -- Cheers, Chuck http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem - it's a normal response from experience.
