The internet does not work on my laptop when i use my wireless networking.
file transfer works but the internet does not work. i have a d-link dsl-G604T
router. It use to work but i haven't used my laptop in a while and now its
not working. can someone please help me get my internet to work wirelessly.
(i am currently using LAN to my router)

Do a simple test. Can you ping a public IP? If yes, can you ping yahoo.com? Theses search results may help,

Can you connect to the Internet from any computer connecting wirelessly on
your network? If not, it sounds like your gateway is incorrectly defined in
your wireless setup on the router.
