Sharing Printer between 2 or more computersHi,
I have a labtop and a desktop both running Win Xp Pro SP2. My desktop is connected to my Dlink G604T Router/Modem and my labtop connected to my router/modem wirelessly. Another labtop which belongs to my brother is running Win XP Home OS. I have turned on the sharing of printers on my desktop, which is connected to my printer. So when i print using my labtop, i will have to switch on my desktop and printer as well. When my brother's labtop wish to print, he is unable to even though the sharing permission is for everybody user group. And only after he login to my desktop using my network places; then he could print documents. Otherwise, he is unable to print. Any ideas why? See:
