Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to create shared files on a different drive
(or partition labeled as a different drive). We have XPsp2 w/multiple users
on same machine, just added new drives and when trying to create shared files
I was told to drag things to THE shared documents file. Can I create another
on a different drive? Really appreciate any help, thanx,  A.Joe

Windows XP creates the Shared Documents folder when you run the
Network Setup Wizard.  There's nothing unique about it that folder --
it's simply a convenient place to put documents that you want to
share.

You can share other folders, too, on any drive.  In My Computer,
right-click the desired folder and click "Sharing and Security".

Thanx, Steve. I just realized that I can drag the folders from one drive to
another, don't know what I did wrong the other day. I'll try your suggestions
tomorrow, thanx again.
