ONE computer is able to ping all nodes on the network, but no nodes can ping it.Domain - Server 2003 Desktops - Windows XP SP2 This ONE computer is able to ping all nodes on the network, but no nodes can ping it. Tried pinging by IP and Hostname... both come back unpingable... YET, that computer is able to reach all servers and network resources. We have tried getting a renewing the IP address, rebooting, checked TCP/IP settings on the device, and everythings set to Dynamic and nothing out of the ordinary. Does anyone have any ideas on what we can try? BTW. Windows built in Firewall has been disabled. Thanks in advance. I would check the firewall first.

There are several other possibilities too, and any might be the cause of your problem. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!): <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
