i want to use two ip's 192.168.0.17 with default gateway 192.168.0.1 and
192.168.2.17 with default gateway 192.168.2.254 on my laptop so that i can
use internet and an accounting software at the same time.

Is there a way to do this? I configured my network card with two default
gateways but it did not work.

thankx!

You can't use two default gateways like this. Why do you think you need to?
More info about your network configuration would help.

I have one computer with Internet Connection Sharing enabled with 192.168.0.1
ip address. I have a router 192.168.2.254 which connects me to an application
server on a remote location through a modem.

I want to use both Internet from ICS computer and the router 192.168.2.254
at same time on my laptop.

thankx!

You'll have the Internet router as the default gateway.  You can only have 1
DEFAULT gateway.  You need a static route entry, to the application server,
using 192.168.2.254 as the gateway (not default gateway).  See the links in my
article.
