network password problemHi everyone,
I have a problem with my computer. I have two windows xp pro computers and 1 windows 2000 professional. They all network with simple netgear router. I have made my windows 2000 professional as a file server. I have map a drive to the files on the shared folder in windows 2000. it asked me for a password to have access to my windows 2000 professional. So i type in the password so i can see the shared folders and files. Then I mapped the drive by giving the UNC address. Now when reset my windows xp professional it ask me for the password everytime. is there way to eliminate this whole password. I just want access with out any password. What do I have to do fix this problem i am having. Ankit Shah Make sure that the Windows 2000 computer has users whose names (and
passwords, if used) match the names and passwords (if used) to log onto the Windows XP computers. You'll find the Windows 2000 user tool in the Control Panel. -- Show quoteHide quoteRichard G.
