WinXp Networkingconfigured on 1 PC. The network with no issues is local. My pc is plugged to a hub that is plugged into a switch on the local LAN. I configured a second static IP address on the same PC and a second gateway. But at some point I lose the ability to access this network. The only way to resolve this is to delete the second static IP and Gateway, then recreate them. When I do this I am once again able to access resources on the second network. I am Running WinXp Pro, attached to a hub that is attached to two separate switches. 1 on the local LAN the other switch is attached to a router on our WAN. 1 Nic Card. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Do you have two default gateways on this multihomed computer? this search result may help,
