cant access another pc on network

hi there if i try \\ip address/c$ the login popup comes with (guest username
which i cant modify) pls tell me how to fix it. i want to login with
administrator and have access to all drives.

P.S: if i share the C drive and access the \\ipaddress it opens the shared
drive but i dont want it this way.

kindly advise the reason and its solution asap.

Activate the Guest account, on the other server, for network access.

Note that under Guest access, you'll NOT have administrative access.

If the remote computer is running XP Pro, then disable Simple File Sharing, and
enable a non-Guest account, for administrative access.  If it's running XP Home,
you're stuck.
