I have an IP phone and I accidentally downloaded a wrong configuration
file. I am unable to find its ip address to download the correct file.
I know the Mac Address but not the ip address. is there any way to
download the file? I can connect the phone directly to the PC but the
IP is not comming up. Please help.

If you have a DHCP server on your network, you might look at its properties
to see what the phone has been assigned, presuming it's using DHCP.
Or, contact the manufacturer and ask them how to do a reset to factory
defaults.
Anyway, this isn't a Windows XP issue. Good luck.

Call the phone's tech support. This is not an operating system issue.
